Rebel With Puma Fashion Show

Saturday saw me at Marina Square's Lead the Fashion Revolution for the Rebel with Puma Fashion Show, which I'm covering for Dinie's ONE SIXTY NOTEPAD. Opening the show was the golf collection which featured performance-infused fabrics and invisibonding technology, the apparels baring seamless designs for easy movement on the golf course while remaining sophisticated and chic. (Think: White polo shirt, patterned skirt with a high ponytail. )

The segment which I really enjoyed of the show was probably the Motorsports line which was inspired by classical racing and science fiction films that encompass speed, technology and the drive to win such as the 1966 movie "Grand Prix" or "Sin City".

The Ducati leather jacket is easily one of my favourite pieces from the show which is right on trend for Spring. The Trellis frame zip pullers in contrast colour and Ducati wording embossed on backside makes the jacket stylish and agressive-looking. Well, I think every guy should own a leather jacket because of its versatility and longevity. Another worthy mention is the skinny jeans from the Puma x Evisu denim collection which had a really nice wash and cut.

Puma presented hooded windbreakers, knitted graphic sweaters, high-cut sneakers and of course Spring's mandatory staples of summer shorts, ballerina flats, sixties pop-art sneakers, khaki bermudas, crisp polo shirts, boat shoes and flip-flops: a great fusion of prep and sportswear
